Kendra has experience working with both pediatrics and adults in multiple settings including: public and private schools, Early Intervention, Home Health, Skills Nursing Facilities, and outpatient clinics. Her passion is working with children with complex communication disorders.
She specializes in expressive and receptive language, social language, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), Autism Spectrum Disorder, fluency, articulation disorders, and sensory feeding/ swallowing disorders.
Kendra graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Masters of Health Sciences in Communication Disorders from Governors State University. While at Southern Illinois University, she worked as a twin research lab assistant and teaching assistant. At Governors State University, she was a research assistant for an elementary language disorder research study. Kendra is married with three daughters and lives within Sarasota County in Florida. She enjoys attending her daughter’s softball games, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family. The beach is her favorite place to be and she recently started paddle boarding with her daughters.
Eric is responsible for the day to day operations of Therapy Care and our out patient physical therapy clinic AccuCare Physical Therapy. Eric graduated from Rutgers University College of Engineering where he played on the D1 Rutgers Men’s Soccer Team as a goal keeper. Eric began his career in consulting for Booz Allen Hamilton in the government and healthcare industries and before coming to Therapy Care lead a team in the procurement group for United Airlines. Eric loves to travel with his family (wife and three children) to see family and explore new places. Eric is an avid SCUBA diver, golfer and soccer player/fan.
