Occupational Therapist
I was born and raised in Novi, Michigan, a suburb outside of Detroit. After high school, I took the step to leave home and moved to West Virginia to attend West Virginia University. At WVU, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Human Performance and Health with a minor in Communication Studies as well as my Master’s of Occupational Therapy. During my time at WVU, I had many unique experiences that helped to foster my passion for Occupational Therapy and working with children. I had the opportunity to work in a daycare for children with and without disabilities, acted as a peer mentor for a college student with disabilities and participated in an inclusive musical theatre program for children. Following graduation in May of 2023, I moved to Venice, Florida to pursue my dream job of being a pediatric occupational therapist! I am a Registered Occupational Therapist through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and I am Licensed by the State of Florida. I have clinical experience in the outpatient setting with both adults and children as well as the skilled nursing setting.
Treating everyone with respect and kindness, working hard for the things you want, and never taking life too seriously.
“Life is what you make it.”
I am the Occupational Therapist at the Port Charlotte clinic. I have goals to become a Certified Autism Specialist as I progress in my career.
My goal is to help all of my patients feel understood and comfortable being their true authentic selves, despite the challenges society may throw at them. I hope to instill confidence in each of my clients by helping them find ways to be successful in the most challenging areas of their lives.
I enjoy treating individuals with various conditions and needs. A couple of conditions I am particularly interested in are Autism Spectrum Disorders and Dyslexia.
One thing I like about working here is having the opportunity to work alongside other professionals that are equally as passionate about helping our clients. I also love that every day brings unique experiences that allow me to learn and grow as a therapist.
