You can call us directly and schedule an evaluation. Some insurance plans require a physician referral before they will cover ongoing therapy, and some do not, which is exactly the kind of thing we verify for you before the first visit so it never holds up your child's care. If a referral turns out to be required, we will tell you what to ask your pediatrician for.

That depends on your plan, and we will not make you guess. Send us the insurance card details through the free benefits check on this page and we call the insurer, then call you back within one business day with your deductible, your copay, how many visits your plan allows, and an out-of-pocket estimate. If self-pay is the better route for your family, we will tell you that too.

We strive to have our pediatric patients start their treatment within 24 to 48 hours of calling our office. Evaluation appointments come first, and we schedule them around school and your work rather than only during the middle of the day.

Your child works one-on-one with a licensed specialist, a speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, or physical therapist, matched to their specific needs, every visit. It is the same therapist each session, not a rotating group and not an aide. Thirteen of our clinicians are speech-language pathologists, which is why families with speech and language concerns tend to find us first.

Plenty of our families use both, and the two are not the same thing. School services are built around access to education and are usually delivered in a group with a set number of minutes. What we do is one-on-one and built around your child, and we will coordinate with the school team when that helps rather than duplicating what they are already doing.

You get a plan with an endpoint. Progress runs through four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform and Prevent, and each phase has a job, a rough timeline and a way to know your child has earned the next one. The evaluation is where we give you the honest estimate for your child, and we tell you at every step which phase you are in and what is left.

Then the evaluation is exactly the right thing to do, because that is the question it answers. Nobody here will talk you into therapy your child does not need. If the honest answer is that development is on track, we will say so and you will leave with the reassurance you came for.
